Greece Islands Cruise & Turkey Land Tour
DAY 01: Wednesday-Arrival to Athens (Meals: No)
Upon arrival in Athens, our representative will meet you & transfer to the hotel and check in to hotel.
( Check in after 14:00pm) Remaining day is leisure and Overnight in Athens.
DAY 02: Thursday- Athens City tour (Meals: Breakfast )
Breakfast, pick up from hotel and depart for half day Athens city tour, which includes a visit to the Acropolis, its museum and the Parthenon. Also view the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, National Library, Evzones in their picturesque uniform, the Presidential Palace, the Panatheanic Stadium (where first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896), the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian's Arch. Afternoon day at leisure and Overnight in Athens.
DAY 03: Friday- Athens / Mykonos ( Cruise ) (Meals: Breakfast+Dinner)
Early in the morning you will be transferred to Lavrio port and then you will depart for the 3-night Cruise. First stop Mykonos! An island known for its fantastic sandy beaches, its vivid nightlife, Little Venice and famous windmills. Overnight on Board
DAY 04: Saturday- Kusadasi (Turkey) / Patmos (Cruise) (Meals: Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner)
Next port of call is the Turkish port of Kusadasi with a visit Ephesus, one of the most complete ancient cities ever excavated. Then on to the island of Patmos, where participating in the optional tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the Monastery and the Grotto of St. John where he lived and wrote the book of the Revelation. Overnight on Board
DAY 05: Sunday- Heraklion (crete) / Santorini (Meals: Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner)
Arrival in Heraklion. Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the optional tour to the Knossos Palace, the center of the Minoan Civilization. Departure to Crete and arrival in Santorini island in the afternoon, the island which is said to be the lost continent of the Atlantis. Overnight on Board
DAY 06: Monday-Athens to Istanbul (Meals: Breakfast)
The cruise ship will arrive at Lavrio port early in the morning. Disembarkation after breakfast and transfer to the Athens airport for afternoon flight to Istanbul at 13:25pm.
15:00pm, Arrival to Istanbul, transfer to hotel. Remaining day is leisure and Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 07: Tuesday-Istanbul Tour ( Walking tour) (Meals: Breakfast+Lunch)
Breakfast, 08:30am visit to the ancient Byzantine Hippodrome where you will tour the Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column, Fountain of Wilhelm II, the elegant Blue Mosque famous with its heavenly six minarets and the Hagia Sophia Museum, built during the reign of Emperor Theodosius and burned down in the fire of Nika Revolt . After lunch, visit the Topkapi Palace (excluding harem), residence and administrative center of the Ottoman Sultans. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 08: Wednesday-Bosphorus Cruise / Fly to Cappadocia (Meals: Breakfast)
Breakfast, 08:30am short drive to Spice Market, Egyptian Bazaar heaped with various sweets & spices is one of the world’s largest spice bazaars since 1665. Then embark on the Bosphorus ferry for an unforgettable cruise along the Bosphorus, the beautiful strait that divides Europe from Asia. After tour back to hotel to collect your luggage and 15:30pm transfer to Airport for flight to Nevsehir at 18:55pm. 19:50pm Arrival to Nevsehir, meet and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 09: Thursday-North Cappadocia Tour (Meals: Breakfast+Lunch)
Breakfast, 09:30am, start for the guided tour to visit Uchisar Castle (Byzantium period), visiting Devrent Valley and Monk's Valley (Pasabagi) where you find the world famous fairy chimneys and Zelve Open Air Museum, the most famous tourist attraction in Cappadocia.. Break for lunch in Avanos then on to visit Avanos which is famous for its potteries. You can see their demonstration and you can try to make it. Visit Goreme Open-Air Museum to explore the numerous churches & monasteries with their frescoes. At the end of the tour back to hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 10: Friday- South Cappadocia tour/ Fly to Istanbul (Meals: Breakfast+Lunch)
Breakfast, 09:30am, start to visit Goreme Panorama, Visit Cavusin (old Greek village) the day also includes panoramic views at Pigeon Valley with its famous dove cotes then time for lunch before heading to visit one of the Underground City. Continuing on to the Love Valley Panorama. Today las stop is Gulludere valley One of the nicest and most most beautiful places to go walking in Cappadocia in Gulludere Valley. After tour transfer to Kayseri airport for flight to Istanbul at 18:15pm
19:45pm Arrival to Istanbul, meet and transfer hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 11: Saturday-Tour ends/ Transfer to airport (Meals:Breakfast)
Breakfast transfer from hotel to Istanbul IST or SAW airport as per your flight departure time.
