Denizli Pamukkale Tabae

Tabae is situated at the 78th km of the Denizli-Mugla Highway. It looks like a natural castle. It's one of the City States of Anatolia which was founded after Alexander the Great. It has had a continuous habitation since its foundation in the Hellenistic Era. The city also minted coins in his name. The coins were silver but later they started to mint bronze coins. There are ruins of a Roman Bath and an Ottoman mosque.
