- 14 Nights / 15 Days Turkey Tour with Three Domestic Flights
TAXES INCL/PERS
Turkey tours of 15 days or more from Magnificent Travel cover Istanbul, Cappadocia, the full Aegean coast, the Turkish Riviera, and optionally Eastern Turkey or the Black Sea region. Fifteen days allows a complete country circuit without skipping any major region. All packages include licensed guides, hotels with daily breakfast, domestic flights, entrance fees, and private transfers throughout.
Turkey is geographically large: the distance from Istanbul to the eastern border at Kars is approximately 1,750 km. A 15-day itinerary covers the western circuit and begins to address the east, which contains Mount Ararat (5,137 metres), the Armenian churches of Lake Van, and the medieval city of Ani. Extended tours are the only format that allows both the Aegean west and the Anatolian or Black Sea east.
What 15 Days Covers in Turkey
A standard 15-day Turkey program covers: Istanbul (2 nights), Cappadocia (3 nights, allowing the Ihlara Canyon hike and the Rose Valley), the Aegean coast including Ephesus, Pamukkale, Troy, and Pergamon (3 nights), Antalya and the Turquoise Coast (3 nights), Fethiye with Oludeniz and Saklikent Gorge (2 nights), and a return flight to Istanbul (1 night). This covers four UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus, and Hierapolis-Pamukkale.
Eastern Turkey on 20+ Day Itineraries
Extended programs of 20 days or more add Eastern Turkey. Trabzon on the Black Sea coast provides the Sumela Monastery (built into a cliff at 1,200 metres, founded 4th century AD) and the Uzungol mountain lake. Kars in Northeast Turkey is the nearest access point to Ani (the medieval Silk Road capital of the Bagratid Armenian kingdom, abandoned 1064 AD). Mount Ararat (5,137 metres) in Agri province is accessible by trekking permit (obtained through Magnificent Travel, approximately 3 days for the summit). The southeastern circuit adds Gaziantep (world-class mosaic museum from the Zeugma excavation), Sanliurfa (Gobeklitepe, the world's oldest known temple complex, built circa 9600 BC), and Mardin (a hill city with Assyrian Christian architecture dating to the 5th century).
Blue Voyage Option on 15+ Day Tours
A Blue Voyage gulet cruise is a natural extension for 15+ day tours reaching the Turquoise Coast. Traditional wooden gulet vessels cruise from Fethiye to Gocek, Bozburun, or Marmaris over 4 to 7 nights with full board, snorkelling stops, and mooring at coves inaccessible by road. This section replaces hotel nights on the Riviera. Gulet charters are available for private groups of 2 to 18 passengers.
Best Time for a 15+ Day Turkey Tour
May and September are the optimal months for extended Turkey itineraries. Cappadocia balloons operate reliably; the Riviera coast is warm; Eastern Turkey mountain roads are accessible. April works for the west but can bring snow to Eastern Turkey passes above 2,000 metres. July and August: the coast is at capacity; Ephesus and Pamukkale are best visited at 7 am. Winter travel (December to February) suits Istanbul and Cappadocia but closes high-altitude eastern routes.
Related Itineraries
For a shorter Turkey circuit: 10 to 14 day Turkey tours cover the western highlights without Eastern Turkey. To combine Turkey with Greece or Egypt: see Turkey and Greece tours and Turkey, Greece, and Egypt tours. Full overview: Turkey tours.

It includes 4 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the optional Cappadocia balloon flight, and the optional Blue Voyage gulet cruise on the Turquoise Coast. Domestic flights connect the inland and coastal sections.
Core destinations: Istanbul, Cappadocia (Goreme, Derinkuyu, Ihlara Canyon), Aegean coast (Troy, Pergamon, Ephesus, Pamukkale, Hierapolis), and the Riviera (Antalya, Fethiye, Oludeniz). Optional extensions available on longer programs: Trabzon and Sumela Monastery, Gaziantep and Gobeklitepe, Kars and Ani, Mount Ararat, and Lake Van.

Yes. All domestic flights required by the itinerary are included: Istanbul to Kayseri (Cappadocia), Kayseri or Istanbul to Izmir (Aegean coast), and a return flight from Dalaman or Antalya to Istanbul. A separate domestic flight may be added for Eastern Turkey sections (Istanbul to Trabzon or Kars), which is included in extended program prices.
Fifteen days covers the western and coastal Turkey circuit thoroughly. Eastern Turkey (Trabzon, Kars, Gobeklitepe, Mardin) adds 5 to 7 more days. Turkey has 21 UNESCO World Heritage Sites; a 15-day tour covers 4 to 5 of them. A truly comprehensive Turkey exploration requires 20 to 25 days.
Gobeklitepe is a Neolithic temple complex near Sanliurfa in southeastern Turkey, built approximately 11,600 years ago. It is the oldest known example of monumental architecture in the world, predating Stonehenge by 6,000 years. It can be added to extended Turkey tours of 18 days or more as part of the southeastern circuit (Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Gobeklitepe). It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site (listed 2018).
Yes. The Blue Voyage is a natural component of 15-day tours that reach Fethiye. A 4-night gulet cruise from Fethiye replaces 4 hotel nights on the coast. Gulets sail to Butterfly Valley, the Twelve Islands, Oludeniz from the sea, and Gocek Bay. Private gulet charters are available for groups of 2 to 18 passengers.
The major Eastern Turkey tourism destinations (Trabzon, Kars, Ani, Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Mardin) are considered safe for tourists. Gobeklitepe receives over 600,000 visitors annually. The Mount Ararat summit attempt requires a permit obtained through a licensed operator. Magnificent Travel's guides have direct experience in all eastern regions and will confirm current conditions before departure
Yes. Turkey can be combined with Greece, Egypt, or Jordan after the Turkey circuit. However, a 15-day Turkey-only tour followed by another country requires at least 20 to 22 days total. For a combined itinerary that balances multiple countries, Turkey and Greece tours (10 to 14 days) or Turkey, Greece, and Egypt tours (16 to 19 days) are better suited.
es. The Cappadocia balloon flight (approximately 180 to 350 USD, 1 hour) and Fethiye paragliding (approximately 80 to 120 USD, 30 to 45 minutes from 1,800 metres) are available on all packages covering these regions. See the full list on the Turkey adventure activities page.
